We were underway out of Scituate Harbor by 7AM. It would take 2.5-3 hours to reach the Cape Cod Canal by 9:12 when the current turns to the west. The sky was sunny and the sea was calm....a perfect trip! We miss the sand dunes along the coastline! Our travel through the canal was calm and we reached 12k with the current.

Passing under the bridges and into Buzzards bay on the west side only took about an hour. We made a course straiught for Cuttyhunk Island, one of our favorite stops. It was desserted! There were 2 boats sharing the anchorage and only 1 mooring ball was occupied!
